The Opportunity:
$250K OTE

Creatively develop new and existing business relationships within the Federal Government and named account verticals in Canada.

This isn’t a vanilla ‘hit the phones until you make your numbers’ position. You’ll need to research and execute innovative plans that put you – and the company’s powerful location intelligence solution ­­– in front of senior decision makers.

This position rewards creativity, experience and ability. With your help, the company will bring its tremendous product to the executive branches of public and private sector companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Aggressively pursue and achieve a minimum of 100% of assigned quota (annually and quarterly).
  • Undertake detailed research to establish the necessary account situational background to build and maintain a territory plan, account strategy and account plan within accounts.
  • Builds high-level strategic relationships, direct contacts and networks within accounts, ensuring complete coverage of the executive decision making individuals within the organization’s hierarchy (BoD, CXO, EVP, SVP, VP Level).
  • Work vigilantly within the assigned territory and/or vertical industry to uncover multiple large solution sales opportunities.
  • Review sales funnel activity on a weekly basis with sales management and maintain accurate and up-to-date sales tracking data on a daily or weekly basis.

Who Should Apply:

  • You have more than seven years’ experience selling complex software and services solutions to senior level business executives, including 3 years experience selling to the public sector or verticals that include BI, ESRI, MapInfo, spatial data).
  • Historically consistent over-achievement of sales targets.
  • Can lead a cross-functional account team responsible for executing account strategies using Solution Selling methodologies and techniques.
  • Ability to develop and professionally deliver creative presentations that address business issues and values in language applicable to the audience.
  • Capability to travel to customers or partners within the territory as often as daily.
  • Willing to travel 20% of the time.
  • Knowledge of GIS or BI software products and solutions (ESRI/MapInfo).
  • Familiarity with a CRM system
