TELoIP Inc. is a technology developer and provider of networking solutions delivered through carrier and ISP channel partners. We have created the Autonomous Network Aggregation (ANA) system that delivers higher internet bandwidth and reliability through diverse carrier aggregation, instantaneous failover and quality of service. TELoIP services the United States and Canadian markets today, with plans for continued growth in future.
With significant new partner activity, the Sales Engineering team is growing. Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for TELoIP’s sales team and are an integral part of the partner acquisition and on-boarding processes, as well as assisting partners with their sell-through.
Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products. You must be able to articulate TELoIP’s technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. You will be able to handle all technically-oriented matters in a professional manner to ensure partner and end customer satisfaction with TELoIP’s products.
As our new Sales Engineer, you’ll report to the Vice President of Sales.
You will spend your day:
Providing support throughout the partner acquisition process, including product and technical presentations, to help ensure that TELoIP engages with the ideal channel partners
Assisting in partner on-boarding activities, including partner training and program and process implementation
Providing technical and product-related assistance to partners in their sales efforts with new and existing customers – recommending solutions and alternatives will be based on the analysis of the customers’ business goals, infrastructure and existing systems
Consulting on TELoIP’s industry best practices and specifically on TELoIP’s products and technology
Participating in sales presentations focused on presenting TELoIP’s technical capabilities to clients ensuring end deliverables are met with TELoIP’s product offering;
Drafting RFP/SOW responses to clients as it pertains to TELoIP’s technology and technical capabilities.
As an ideal candidate, you have the following attributes:
Self-motivated with a proven track record in IT and networking environments, with a strong knowledge of telecommunications technology;
Action and goal-oriented, constantly thinking of ways to improve channel performance;
Ability to support partners strategically, but also to identify and successfully take advantage of sales opportunities with the channel partners as they arise;
Ability to identify areas where partners would benefit from additional training, technical or sales materials, etc. and follow-through to ensure that the partners get what they need;
Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base;
Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs/SOWs, and when submitting reports;
Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches;
Must be prepared for travel to support TELoIP sales department for several TELoIP sales engagements with new or existing TELoIP client base;
The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
We’ll be looking this as well:
5+ years relevant experience in vendor sales;
Bachelor’s degree preferably in a business or technical field;
Experience and familiarity with Telecommunication industry highly preferred;
Knowledge of computer software systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
