You are a high-energy, self-motivated, action and results-oriented individual. This role directly contributes to the company’s revenue stream through focused interaction with partners and customers.
You have the skills and experience to assess the profile and needs of potential partners and then identify whether the TELoIP value propositions resonate with them. You have channel experience, with the proven ability to successfully build, grow and manage long-term strategic partnerships, providing clear feedback to the company on ways to improve the partnership processes and programs.
You’ll report to the Vice President of Sales, and will be accountable for overall “ownership” of your partners. You’ll work with all areas of the company, as you’ll be supported through the partner acquisition, onboarding, sell-through and delivery by Marketing, Operations, Finance and others.
You will spend your day:
Qualifying, closing and working with others to help acquire and on-board new partners that meet the TELoIP partner profile
Working with partners to help develop marketing and sales strategies to ensure a successful sell- through of TELoIP services
Assisting partners to pitch and close larger or more complex customer opportunities
Providing partner, customer and market feedback to the organization to help direct future product and partner program development
Here’s the sort of skills and experience we’ll be looking for:
A knowledge of IT and network organizations, the problems they face and the solutions they appreciate
Ability to create an overall strategic business development plan to TELoIP and execute against it with the partners
Ability to explain TELoIP service offerings and value propositions to all levels within channel partner organizations and to end customers, both technically and non-technically savvy.
Ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced, fast-growth environment and handle multiple tasks daily
Appreciation of the need to balance long-term business growth and short-term sales goals
Ability to accurately forecast and close required sales exclusively through channel sales team(s)
Skills to assist in the development of partners’ sales strategies for target markets and customers
Ability to act and communicate in a professional manner with partners, customers, at trade shows, seminars, conferences, etc.
Maturity, self-motivatation, and ability to represent company on the national stage
Prior experience (5+ years) working in the IT, software solutions and/or networking industry with carrier/ISP channels (ideally)
Strong prioritization and multi-tasking capabilities
Excellent C-Level communication skills, oral, written and presentation
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment – good interpersonal skills
Proven ability to uncover new opportunities within existing and create new partnerships
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, desired
