The Opportunity

As a Senior Architect you will lead the design and architecture of a suite of tools focused on analytics, marketing and sales. Using the most advanced Microsoft development and database tools, your oversight and expertise will contribute to a product line that satisfies immediate customer requirements and anticipates future client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Play a central role in defining and leading the design of two main product lines
• Spend time keeping up with the industry and bringing new ideas to the table when appropriate.
• Be involved in the pre-sales cycle to explain the technical details of the product to the customer, and design conceptual architecture solutions for how to integrate Angoss products into their existing systems.
• Work closely with product management to address requirements from customers
• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews to ensure the applications are secure, scalable, etc.
• Mange general web application architecture, including: security, deployment, scalability, health monitoring, load balancing, etc.

Who Should Apply

• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required
• 5+ years of senior software architecture experience including systems requirement and functional specifications of systems or software, high level design and implementation of software systems with: .NET 3.5/4.0, C#, C++, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, some Java.
• 3+ years of team leadership / management experience in a high tech environment
• Proven track record of designing, building and maintaining large-scale mission-critical systems
• Deep working knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies
• Ability to understand a wide variety of technologies and components and how they interact in order to maintain the conceptual architecture
• Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) technology is a plus
