About the Company
Our client is a publicly traded provider of transportation services across North America. Customers include global and local brands in retail, pharmaceutical, telecom, finance, and supply chain sectors.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of the Canadian sales strategy for new client acquisition, as well as maintaining the existing customer base across Ontario. Your team of seven account executives and one inside rep will be expected to meet quarterly and annual quotas and will be well rewarded for doing so.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the development of client sales strategies to ensure high levels of satisfaction and long-term relationships
- Oversee the hiring and development of an A-level sales team, with an emphasis on prospecting for new business
- Maintain net operating income by driving revenue and retaining the existing base
- Train and mentor your team on consultative selling methodologies
- Manage sales territories/quotas to maximize individual and team success
Who Should Apply
- A minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership capacity
- Success in selling outsourced services
- Experience with a recognized sales methodology
- A professional hunter who leads by example and commands loyalty and respect
- Ability to plan and manage at strategic and operational levels
- Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners
- A track record of selling new products into new markets
